Can I buy movies on dvd and charge to show a group of people?
by admin on Dec.31, 2009, under Uncategorized
I want to show DVD Movies in a theater but charge people to see them. Can't I just say they are 'paying to do something else'?
No. When you buy the DVD, you are agreeing not to profit from the purchase by showing it. You are legally allowed to sell your copy to someone else, but that is it.

Are ‘Satellite TV for PC’ offers for real?
by admin on Dec.31, 2009, under Uncategorized
I've had an offer come through email for Satellite TV on my PC. It seems too good to be true, is it?
I am English but live in the US so the thought of being able to watch programmes form England is very enticing. Anybody know the scoop.
I'm nervous, I got taken by Vonage's free trial that ended up costing me over a $100. Anybody else tried this
Okay, did my own research, it's a scam. All they are selling is a search engine. Miss World must work for them!
Hi,might ok for some of the free channels, but i think there could be a problem with the premium channels such sport, movies in the UK. Has the old saying goes "Let the buyer beware"
I want a new home entertainment system with PC, TV which will connect to my xbox 360 and surround sound.?

Help me please. The laptop has broken and the TV is past its best, what are these "multimedia centres" everyone talks about? Can they connect to my xbox and current surrond sound and can they run a separate monitor so i can watch TV on the TV and still use the pc?
Thanks in advance!
You can do all that and more, visit Sound Advice, they have the best stuff for home entertainment and I would go through Dell for computers, but be prepared to max out that credit card.
Can you hook up more than 1 receiver to a single direct tv satellite dish?
by admin on Dec.31, 2009, under Uncategorized
I live in 3 story apartment complex and there are about 5 or 6 Direct tv dishes on the side of the building. So my question is can more than one receiver be hooked up to a single dish? Like if i were to ask a neighbor to use their dish would it work?
Thanks!
Thanks, I will look into that. I will be getting a subscription, I'm not tryin to get free satellite ![]()
Yes, look into a DP34 or DP44 switch.
These are designed to let multiple receivers run from a single dish, although you will still need a subscription.
