Can I use a computer monitor with a DVD player to watch movies?
by admin on Jun.27, 2010, under Uncategorized
I already have 3 TVs and a PC at home, BUT my kids and hubby are always using them. I need somewhere to play movies or exercise DVDs, and since I've noticed that some flat screen monitors are less expensive than laptops and regular TVs, I was wondering if I could just plug a DVD to a computer monitor where I could at least watch something in my spare time. Thanks!
Hi Isis,Hooking up a DVD player to a computer monitor is wholly dependent on the hardware involved.
If your DVD player with DVI output and your monitor with DVI input, you can easily hook your DVD Player to your monitor.
If you do not have matching inputs and outputs, you will need to buy a adapter.
I have included a link to help center, hope it can help you.http://www.ehow.com/how_4827727_up-pc-monitor-dvd-player.html
