Connecting my PC to TV using S-Video?
by admin on Mar.30, 2010, under Uncategorized
Hi,
I use to connect my PC to TV using an S-Video cable. All was well, I havn't done it in over 6 months now, and since the last time I had it working correctly I have upgraded to Windows 7, along with a new Motherboard.
When I connect it, it detects it fine, but my TV is only showing it in black and white? (It is the same TV as I use to us).
How do I fix this so my TV output is in colour?
Thanks ![]()
Nope, Tried updating driver and still not giving me colour.. ![]()
Ahhh just figured it out, it wasn't anything to do with the PC. In my TV's menu, under System Colour, it was set to PAL, I changed it and now all is working ![]()
Go to the video card's manufature web site and download the new drivers for it.

It sounds like the setup in your TV is not set correctly for the S-Video input.
Good luck
