DVD Movies?

How do you put DVD Movies onto your laptop. I have Windows Media Player and a Gateway laptop. I want it on my iPod and have a converter. I want the movie on my laptop even when the disk isn't in the drive. I don't know wat it is called. Rip or Burn. Any answers
This is called ripping. If you want some free software, try Handbrake, DVD Decrypter, DVDFab Decrypter, or Free DVD Ripper.
