Well, most climbers don’t enjoy “nearly falling to their deaths”, they enjoy climbing. A fall can be enjoyable if it’s on absolutely bombproof gear, say a brilliant bolt or #10 nut in a constricting crack, and far from the ground.
I don’t know of anyone who would tell you he enjoys falling on a marginal placement that could result to their deaths.
