WinTV-HVR-1600 brings over-the-air high definition ATSC digital TV, clear QAM digital cable TV and analog cable TV to your PC. Watch and record TV in a window or full screen using high quality MPEG-2. Clear QAM TV channels are unencrypted digital TV channels broadcast by your local cable operator. Many cable operators in North America are transmitting the high definition ATSC channels on their cable networks. They also broadcast the basic cable channels in using clear QAM. You can use the WinTV v6 application to watch and record these channels.

    windows 7 64bit and …
    windows 7 64bit and comcast is the worst combination with any tv turner evan this model . dont buy this if you got a 64 bit . Waist of my money .

    Hmm…the review …
    Hmm…the review wasn’t in detail, it should be, because there are 2 serious issues with TV cards. The first one is the compatibility issue. Many of these cards work only in Windows XP while they have problems in Vista and 7 due to their complicated graphics interface. I recently tested an Aver Media a friend of mine gave me, and did not work correctly in Vista. The second issue is that these cards mostly cause PC problems due to a conflict with an other card (sound or…) I know this an IRQ co

    because from what i understand from this TV tuners… they takeover your PC completely and if you have to choose to watch or use computer utilities,,,
