I lol’d at a 6 core HTPC with a 700W PSU with a 120GB SSD.
A cheap dual core with a 400w and a cheap HD is more than enough for a HTPC. As long as you’re not using Atom or something you don’t need GPU acceleration for video.

When building …
When building something like this, I think the main thing to think about is how quiet it will be. Choosing your PSU and CPU fan can be critical. I should have to hold my ear up to the unit to hear a faint whisper.
Hey newegg. Think about making a video on how to build a silent pc, from case, HDD’s, PSU, Fans (or liquid cooling if need be). Silent High Performance.

Oo, good idea, I may do this to record my gameplay instead of recording to a hauppauge recorder then running through my pc, but then again… may not cause my pc can handle it easy, figure it’d make it easier.

HEY, NewEgg? Are …
HEY, NewEgg? Are you hiring? Maybe get someone who actually knows the terms and uses of a PC? A six core is overkill…..just cause you can doesn’t mean you should.
It’s called a low profile slot! Are these guys high? It looks like they pulled two guys out of a 420 celebration, told them a couple computer terms and sent them in a room to build a PC.
half height PCI slots hahaheeee I’M SOOO HIGH!!!
Wow, can’t even remove a DVD-ROM tray cover??

You seemed really …
You seemed really out of it in this video Paul. In every video you seem like you did some research and know everything about what it is you building. This tells me you were rushed and rather annoyed because of it.
