Problem connecting PC to TV, only background shows…?

We recently upgraded our PC with a nvidia video card, and have been trying to attach it to our Samsung HDTV. We are using windows vista 64-bit, and the computer is attached to the TV with an HDMI cable.

However, the problem is that on the computer monitor, we can see everything, but on the tv, only the computer wallpaper shows up.

What can i do to mirror these images so they are exactly the same?

try moving the mouse to the right of the screen untill it is passed the edges then look at ur tv and see if the mouse shows up. on my comp it does the same its like a split screen.... just move whatever you want to view all the way to the right
