whats the last band …
whats the last band you can think of that wrote a good campfire song? im talkin about a band that wrote the words and music themselves!!! what song now will remain with you and spark memories like this song? not too many. were saturated with rap/r n b tunes that are processed by big companies. we need and wait for heart felt songs like this composed by true artists. the word artist has been tuned down and thinned out by the media. we need real music…now!!

A true classic is a …
A true classic is a song that pulls in a heart-felt memory. An instant recollection of a moment from yesteryear when they hear it. And by saying that, this song does it pretty darn well. every darn year I hear it.

I was halfway …
I was halfway through my teenage years when this song surfaced. Believe it or not it made me rethink my negative ways. The beauty of the strings, the reverb on those snares, Geoff’s voice and words, they came together and turned me around. I believe this song touched people all over the world, when they make out, mourn a loved one’s passing, celebrate a birth of a child, or self-reflection. whatever. A true classic.

@lec666 I agree with you. Today’s teens would this song is dumb/stupid. They rather listen to some rap $hit or a guy yelling his lungs out.

Ever see the move ” …
Ever see the move “Before Sunrise” with Ethan Hawke? In it he poses the question “If reincarnation is true, and the population is increasing, then every human being today has a fraction of the soul they had 10,000 years ago”
Listening to music now confirms the theory that humans have lost their soul.
This song is epic. Nothing like it today.

Don’t fret over all this Justin Bieber craziness, boys and girls: he’ll be nothing more

“Silent Lucidity” is possibly the finest power ballad ever recorded.
