In this video I review the Super Color HD TV Tuner Box which hosts a slew of inputs ranging from s-video, vga, rgb, rca and I put it through the paces using my Mac, PC, PS2, VGA monitor, etc. Overall I really love this unit and have used it everyday for almost a year now. Well worth the money!

@JapaneseModernist Not sure about that, someone said they got a cheaper one and it stopped working. $20 isn’t too much too spend but you might be in for a let down. I’d go a little more but do the research and try to find reviews if you do get a different one, it will pay in the end.

@FranksTechHelp Awesome, Thanks. I suppose you can’t really help but how about other similar devices? there are some really cheap (about $20 dollars) and other more expensives (40-50) ones. I wonder if any works well of if I should look for the the exact one you are using

@JapaneseModernist Yes the quality would be good as this unit has a great tuner. Can’t say it would be 100% exact but it would be 99%, I don’t think it would lose any quality.

Hi, I want to use this as a S-video to VGA converter.I have a few devices with S-video output but my TV does not have a S-video input. It does have a VGA input. My TV is a 32′ EDTV. resolution is about 900×500. My question is: Using this device, Would the image quality be good? Will it be as good as if I connected to the TV using S-video directly if it had the input?

@harrypinky The tuner box has audio output so you can plug in your Bose audio jack into the output of the box, should sound really nice. If you are using Bose for the computer as well then you can use a splitter to plug in your computer and the tuner and have both play from your Bose speakers. Hope that makes sense.

Hi, if you could just help me with one problem.
I have a Samsung BX2450 and a laptop. For sound I have a bose companion 5(conncected via usb to the laptop).
I want to watch HD TV on the same monitor. Is there a way to hear the sound through the BOSE? If so, then I will buy this thing. If not, then please tell me if there something else I can go for.

@Butters644 Agreed, but it’s still nice to have if you only have a monitor and no tv, it’s a toy more than anything, but a useful toy at that.

the real question …
the real question is if this hit works too many time thos crapy sellers said hd quality you expence 100$ in the go run to play your ps2 in your tv hd aND JUST LOOK LIKE CLEAR Y HIGH DEFINITION SQUARDS the problem to resolve is how the fck we can do the same quality to the conventional tv in a hd tv

@jorjordawg55 I have mine hooked up to a laptop in this video so yes you can use it with a laptop but you still have to have a VGA monitor to run the output. If you are asking, can I watch tv from this box on my laptop then the answer would be no.
