Just a few months ago, I came across an ad for Satellite Direct. While the concept of it looked amazing to me, the first thing that went through my head was Satellite Direct scam. Like anything you buy online, I was a bit skeptical to say the last. Another thought that went through my mind was is Satellite Direct legal?. Both of these things were concerns of mine, so I had to do my research.

I was so tempted to buy the product right then and there. I was living in Europe for 90 days on a work assignment, and my favorite football team was playing a really big game later that day. The idea of downloading software that would let me see this game right away was too good to be true. I was still skeptical of a Satellite Direct scam.

So, I spent the next few hours reading up on the product. I wanted to make sure that the quality was good, that it had as many channels as advertised, and most importantly, I wanted to make sure that Satellite Direct wasnt illegal.

I was happy to learn that Satellite Direct is in fact legal and legitimate, thanks to something called the Free to Air protocol, which allows for mass viewing of local and national TV stations from all over the world.

I also read a bunch of different user reviews who praised the digital HD quality of the stations they watched. On top of that, I saw a high profile technology magazine that gave Satellite Direct high marks. Once I saw that a reputable publication was talking this software up, I decided that it was definitely worth taking my chances on. As a Mac user, I was pretty happy to see that itd work on both PCs and Macs.

I decided to download the software from there. For $49 it was less than one months worth of cable. Since Id never have to pay for cable monthly again from there, I figured it was well worth it.

Anyway, within about 5 minutes from making my payment I was up and running. All I had to do was download the software and install it. It couldnt have been easier. The best part about it was that the product does work as advertise. The picture was crisp, the sound was great, it didnt freeze up or get choppy, and there are a ton of TV stations. Plus, I got to see the Falcons win their football game that day

At the moment, there are 3,500 TV stations from all over the world. No matter what countrys TV stations youre looking to watch, theres a good chance they have them. From movie channels to sports stations to all kinds of movie stations, theres just about everything you could want. Its all in DVD quality too, since its digital.

To be honest, Im surprised that more people dont know about this. It seems like itll only be a matter of time before everyone has software like Satellite Direct instead of a traditional cable plan.

The film tells the story of Mary Henry, a talented young organist (Hilligoss). At the beginning of the film, Mary is riding in a car with two other girls when some boys challenge them to a drag race that ends up on a bridge. The boys' car nudges the girls' car, which bumps up against the railing of the bridge. The girls' car then runs over the side of the bridge and plunges into the river. Although the others in the car die, Mary mysteriously survives.
As Mary is drawn back to the scene of the accident, and then as she performs an impromptu concert in an organ factory, her character is revealed. While she is obviously a gifted organist, her interaction with the factory supervisor (Thomas McGinnis) is emotionless and even cold, and there is a suggestion that she has become this way because of the accident.
Mary then travels to Salt Lake City, where she takes a new job playing organ at a church. While driving there, she passes a large, abandoned pavilion (in reality, Salt Lake City's Saltair amusement park), which seems to beckon to her in the twilight. Shortly thereafter, while driving along a deserted stretch of road, she sees a ghoulish figure (aka The Man, played by director Herk Harvey) whose image replaces her reflection in the passenger window. He stares at her fixedly through the window of her moving car until her own image returns.

If you are putting up a Direct TV satellite dish yourself, you have to know how to position the satellite dish so that you get the best possible signal.

Positioning the dish is actually very easy to do if you have two people. One will be in the house in front of the TV and the other will be outside positioning the dish.
STEP 1
Turn on the TV after the Direct TV cable box is hooked up to the TV. Use the remote to access the set up channel.

STEP 2
Click on the "Set Up" menu. This will take you to another screen with a list.

STEP 3
Click on the box called "Installation."

This will take you to a screen that displays the satellite signal. Arrow down to the button that is called "Position" and click it.

STEP 4
Write down the information you are given on this page. You will be given the "Elevation" number.

You will move the dish to the approximate elevation using the markings on the side of the mounting bracket holding the Direct TV dish.

The Azimuth is also displayed on this page. This is the compass direction that is based on zero.
It will give you north, south, east and west degrees for your location.

STEP 5
Close the page and return to the signal page. Have someone inside watching the signal as you take the Azimuth.
Rotation and Elevation numbers outside to position the dish. As you are moving the dish, the person inside will see the signal strength appear on the screen.
STEP 6
Move the dish very slowly after you have your first coordinates. In minutes, you should have a strong signal.
