Teachers union set on 40 pc pay rise

Teachers in the country have finally got a pay deal from the government. Under the deal, the teachers will get a 40 per cent pay rise in the current financial year and a further 20% next year. The teacher Union KNUT also agreed to the recruitment of teachers on contract terms.

    Pay the teachers well!! They totally deserve it! They cannot be compared to the MPs or our trigger-happy stupid police!!

    Teachers should be paid whhat they deserve..this people do a great job but they are not rewarded…its shameful that the MPs earn a lot every month while teachers, doctors,nurses and farmers for example get little!
