Excellent desktop …
Excellent desktop replacement, I would think buying this laptop would be a wise idea if you want to work for the next 5 years since it has all a decent components a modern desktop has, but I’ll guess I’ll wait for a Toshiba upgrade to put some USB 3.0 ports, since Firewire and USB 2.0 is getting slow for today’s needs.

@LordAtrocities You probably just got a laptop, one of those inevitable failures that appear on the stats sheet.
I have a Qosmio, its two years old and its great. I use it quite a lot for my engineering courses in college, it handles programs amazingly well.

I bought recently …
I bought recently the S6033 model and I’m kind of disappoint because of the heating issues, the fan speed is always over 70% and the cpu temperature is always rising 40-70% max temperature; the bottom left side corner is always red hot.

Ah great another …
Ah great another POS Toshiba, design to fail, lap top. Take it from me, a former Toshiba owner, DON’T buy this! They are prone to overheating, MoBo failures, and the video card is utter crap. Will over heat playing any game such as Half Life, not HL2, but HL!. The monitor will fail within a year, most often right after the 1 year warranty is over. The Hard Drives are crap. Chines made generic crap. The locking hinge breaks very easily as does the power in plug. Buyer beware.
