Will I ever get all TV channels on my PC?

If you live in America you will laugh at this. I live in the U.K and we only have 5 TV channels if you don't have freeview box or satellite/cable. :( Stuck in teh 1980's or what???
Anyway I have windows media centre 2005 with a TV card installed(TV Tuner) If I plug a normal aerial (Antennae) into card I can get 1 channel perfectly which is channel 5. None of the others. Somebody on yahoo answers said I need cable TV?

Do I just need to buy cable TV with a set top box? I have a freeview box.?? Why can I get 1 channel? I have scanned for signals a few times.

I live in America. We get about 7 channels without cable. But I don't know anybody that lives in America without cable/satellite. Living without cable/satellite is history now. But my sister moved to London, and she watches all the current American shows on the internet. She has this website she goes to and she watches everything for free. I will have to ask her what site she goes to.
